Whatever the season the resort is a hive of activity with ice skating, skidoo rides, show shoeing and parapenting all on offer in the Winter and in the warmer months it’s the perfect base to explore the valley and all its adventures – from mountain biking, road biking, lake swimming, hiking and white-water rafting….the challenge is finding the time to fit it all in!
On the piste the Portes du Soleil is your playground. There are runs to suit everyone from first timers to seasoned skiers. With 650kms of groomed runs that take in 12 towns and villages you can ski safari your way through gentle open blues and beautiful tree lines reds all the way through to the adrenaline inducing Swiss wall – if your nerves and ability allow!
In terms of location, it couldn’t be better. The short transfer time from Geneva of just over an hour means you can maximise your time in resort without being wiped out by arduous journeys and the easy access to the lifts that take you to the snow sure resort of Avoriaz means you can confidently book throughout the season without worrying about altitude.
